Passion fuels every step of my journey. It’s not something that fades over time—instead, it grows stronger with each experience, every song, and every connection I make through music. For me, music isn’t just about creating sounds; it’s about telling stories that resonate, inspire, and unite. It’s a way of capturing life’s emotions—the joy, the struggle, the hope—and turning them into something meaningful.
Each melody I craft and each lyric I write is a reflection of my belief that music has the power to heal, uplift, and ignite change. It’s a universal language that crosses borders, breaks down barriers, and reminds us of our shared humanity.
My passion for music is my driving force. It’s what keeps me grounded in my roots, motivated to grow, and committed to creating songs that bring people together. It’s more than a calling—it’s my purpose, and it grows stronger every day.

TAP’s story begins in the lively city of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe—a place rich in culture, rhythm, and resilience. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant sounds of African life, she discovered her love for music early on. It was here that her warrior spirit was born, shaped by the strength, joy, and traditions of her homeland.

At the age of 10, TAP moved with her family to South Africa, where new sounds and experiences broadened her musical horizons. Immersed in the diversity of the rainbow nation, she found inspiration in every corner—from traditional African beats to contemporary influences. These formative years enriched her identity and deepened her passion for storytelling through music.
In her late twenties, TAP took a bold step, moving to the United States to bring her music to the world stage. With a mission to share the beauty of African culture, she infused her heritage into modern pop and dance sounds. This global journey allowed her to craft music that resonates across borders, blending cultures and connecting people through universal themes of love, hope, and resilience.
TAP’s music isn’t just about melodies; it’s driven by the African philosophies of Ubuntu (“I am because we are”) and Sawubona (“I see you”). These values shape her message of unity, dignity, and shared humanity. Today, TAP is more than a musician—she’s a cultural ambassador, creating songs that inspire connection, celebrate diversity, and remind us that we are stronger together.
From humble beginnings to global recognition, my journey is marked by heartfelt songs, cultural influence, and moments that have touched lives across borders.

A musician since his teenage years in Upstate New York, Greg began his career in Los Angeles as a staff engineer at the world-renowned Record Plant Studios where he learned the art of production under such industry legends as Don Was, David Foster, Jim Scott and Al Schmitt. In 1998 Greg moved on to Ocean Way Studios where he took over the engineer seat to complete the recording of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Rick Rubin-produced landmark album, Californication. Further engineering work for Rubin soon followed with System Of A Down’s Toxicity and Steal This Album.
Robert Palmer never imagined music would become part of his journey. Having never picked up an instrument in his life, his unexpected dive into music began a year and a half ago when TAP asked him to explore Logic Pro to help bring her creative sound to life. One video turned into a passion, and Robert was hooked. Since then, he has been dedicated to learning, creating, and pushing musical boundaries.
Robert has played a key role in producing TAP’s latest songs, including the mesmerizing Ripple and the upcoming release Rush, set to drop later this year. His growth as a music creator has been fueled by his drive, curiosity, and the mentorship of his teacher Caleb, whose guidance has been invaluable.
